Binod Kumar Baskey

Binod Kumar Baskey, born on 02.12.1985, at Bodratola, Karandih, by his will & due hard work, has been able to made his name in regional & Santali Cinema.
Starting from a normal village stage actor & dancer, and now a well known cine actor, he met to his fortune, by perpetual commitment.
He has always been encouraged by Rabindranath Tagore's poem "Jodi Tor Dak Sune Keo Na Aase Tobe Ekla Cholo Re...".
Under his production house "BK Production", the debut production was the successfull santali album "Inak Mone Hon Aam Re" & now ready to release his second album titled "Nes Do Sawai Me Chandobonga".
He has been working rigorously for his upcoming movie, "Aam Bagor Baing Tahe Kiya".

Early Life & Carrier
Born to Habiram Baskey & Jasmi Baskey, on 02.12.1985, at Bodratola, Karandih. He has done his matriculation from Moden English High School, & Intermediate from Shyama Prasad Intermediate College.

He is a graduate in Zoology, from Co-Operative College, Jamshedpur. He has also been keen towards films, so he decided to produce an album, which we know as "Inak Mone Hon Aam Re".
He has been a part of the short film "Mati Ke Mol". He is presently working at Tata Motors, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Work Pressure from his job, has never been able to suppress his arstistic profile. He has managed both his professional & artistic image. He is busy on weekends planning projects for upcoming milestones.

He also attended a week long workshop organised by Tribal Cultural Society, Jamshedpur in October, 2003. He never went to dancing schools, for training, but learnt dancing watching reality dance shows on television. He is better known by his acts a Choreographer, Dancer, Producer & Director.

About Family
His father Habiram Baskey, is an employee of Tata Motors, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, & his mother Jasmi Baskey is a homemaker.
His grandfather is Lt. Bogai Baskey & grandmother Lt. Sumi Baskey.

A short note on BK Production
He setup the production house with the aim of giving wings to the young & aspiring artists. There are many artists who want to showcase their hidden talent, but could not do so due to lack of an fruitful opportunity.
This production house with its limited resources, try to give good quality entertainment to its viewers & a better stage to artists to come up with their talent and passion & cater it throughout the santali entertainment lovers, & its well wishers.

The house took audition for its projects in the year 2010 & 2013, & the selected artists got opportunity to bring out their talent.
